The Lane Hotel Review
You can get a rare touch of urbanity in the sleepy Monadnocks in this upscale redbrick boutique hotel in the middle of Main Street. The hotel was retrofitted from the former Goodnow department store, a Keene landmark for more than 100 years. That accounts for some interesting room features, like a wall of exposed brick and 12-foot ceilings. Spacious rooms are individually adorned with sleek modern furnishings. Some suites have stairs that lead to an upper level and come with two bathrooms.
