Fodor's Review

Famous candy-man Larry Burdick, who sells his hand-filled, hand-cut chocolates to top restaurants around the Northeast, is a Walpole resident. The restaurant next door to his shop has the easygoing sophistication of a Parisian café and may tempt you to linger over an incredibly rich hot chocolate. The French-inspired menu utilizes fresh, often local, ingredients and changes daily. For dinner, you might start with a selection of grilled octopus, followed by the house beef stew or honey-roasted duck breast. Naturally, dessert is a big treat here, and features Burdick's own chocolates and pastries.
