Fodor's Review

Because it's in an attractive residential neighborhood of striking Victorian homes, staying in this five-room B&B will give you the best face of Manchester. Every room in the historic sage-green 1885 house, run by Darlene and Eric Johnston, is painted a different color and has beds topped with high-quality linens. There's decanted brandy in the sitting room, which has the house's original stained glass. In the summer, a wraparound porch is a nice place to sit and enjoy a cooked-to-order breakfast, served on a flexible schedule.
