Ash Street Inn
118 Ash St., Manchester, New Hampshire, 03104, USA
This five-room bed-and-breakfast is one of many striking Victorian homes in its residential neighborhood. Each room in the sage-green 1885 house, run by Margit and Rob Wezwick, is painted a different color, and all have beds topped with high-quality linens. There's decanted brandy in the sitting room, whose stained glass is original. In the summer, the wraparound porch is a nice place to sit and enjoy a cooked-to-order breakfast, served on a flexible schedule.
