Fuller Gardens

Fodor's Review:

Away from the beach crowds is this late-1920s estate garden (the mansion was razed in 1961) designed in the Colonial-revival style by landscape architect Arthur Shurtleff, with a 1938 addition by the Olmsted brothers. It encompasses 1,700 rosebushes, a hosta garden, display garden, Japanese garden, and tropical conservatory.

  • Cost: $6.50
  • Open: Mid-May-mid-Oct., daily 10-5:30
