Leaded-glass panes and wood paneling set a decidedly romantic tone at this wonderful inn overlooking Squam Lake. The main dining room is in the manor's original billiard room and features woodwork from 1904. Two others have very different looks: one features white linens, fresh flowers, and candlelight; the other is in the style of a Parisian bistro. The menu changes weekly, but might include lobster risotto, filet mignon, quail, or monkfish. Ask about the fabulous seven-course
tasting menu. Breakfast is also served.
