Manor on Golden Pond Restaurant Review
Leaded glass panes and wood paneling set the decidedly romantic tone at this wonderful inn's dining rooms on a hill overlooking Squam Lake. The main dining room is in the manor's original billiard room and features woodwork from 1902. Two other dining rooms have very separate looks: one features white linen, fresh flowers, and candlelight; the other is in the style of a Parisian bistro. The menu changes weekly but might include lobster risotto, filet mignon, quail, or monkfish. Breakfast is also served. A fabulous seven-course tasting menu is $80.
