MS Mount Washington
MS Mount Washington Review
This 230-foot boat makes 2½-hour scenic cruises of Lake Winnipesaukee from Weirs Beach from mid-May to late October, with stops in Wolfeboro, Alton Bay, Center Harbor, and Meredith (you can board at any of these). Evening cruises include live music and a buffet dinner and have nightly music themes, so check ahead to make sure it's music you like. The same company operates the MV Sophie C. ($24), which has been the area's floating post office for more than a century. The boat departs from Weirs Beach with mail and passengers and lets you see areas of the lake not accessible by larger ships. Additionally, you can ride the MV Doris E. ($16-24) on one- and two-hour scenic cruises of Meredith Bay and the lake islands throughout summer.
