Fodor's Review

Just south of Plainfield, a small lane leads to this historic site, where you can tour sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens's house (with his original furnishings), studio, gallery, and 150 acres of grounds and gardens. Scattered throughout are casts of his works. The property has two hiking trails, the longer of which is the Blow-Me-Down Trail. Concerts are held every Sunday afternoon in July and August.
