The Hanover Inn Review
If you're in town for a Dartmouth event, you'll want to stay on the town's—and the college's—main square. Owned by Dartmouth, this sprawling, Georgian-style brick structure rises four white-trimmed stories. The original building was converted to a tavern in 1780, and this expertly run inn, now greatly enlarged, has been operating ever since. Rooms have Colonial reproductions, Audubon prints, large sitting areas, and marble-accented bathrooms. Two on-site restaurants are on hand for breakfast and dinner.
