Why We Like It
Green Valley Ranch doesn’t have the flash of Strip resorts. There are no marquee celebrity chefs here or headliners. What you’ll find is 100 percent local charm. Walk around The District and you’ll find neighbors hanging out or walking their dogs. It’s the kind of vacation in which you can blend in to the daily lives of people who actually live here.

Locals have long known that Green Valley is a low-key, refined resort for the high-end crowd that prefers style over bustle (the Strip is a 25-minute drive away). Vineyards with distant views of the Strip make it oh-so-sophisticated. The Pond, an adults-only pool, offers poolside bottle service, day and night. Upstairs, in the hotel towers, modern and spacious rooms have cherrywood furniture, plush chairs, and beds with down comforters. There's a slew of both fine and casual restaurants and shops.

Room
If you want to immerse yourself in a city’s identity, hang out where the locals go. In Henderson, that’s Green Valley Ranch, an elegant Mediterranean-inspired resort. It’s luxurious without being stuffy, and the ambiance is that of a familiar, welcoming place where service is always top of mind. The rooms are comfortable and sophisticated, featuring modern amenities such as a 42-inch TV, docking stations, a mini bar and full-length mirrors.
Bathroom
A spacious garden tub and separate shower stall, with a lighted vanity mirror and plush cotton robes ready at the ready for lounging around.
Lobby
The vibe in the lobby is that of a European manor house from another time, where voices are hushed and the lighting is warm and welcoming. There’s plenty of activity on the casino floor, but Green Valley Ranch feels so expansive that one can simultaneously feel calm but not bored.
Pool
Green Valley Ranch’s pool is lauded around these parts, and that’s saying something in a city where a pool is so key especially in the summer months. Here, the sand-bottom pool sits on an 8-acre “backyard.” In the summer, the pool drinks never end as patrons lay around cabanas and nosh on snacks from the poolside dining service.
Spa
The award-winning Spa at Green Valley Ranch is Henderson’s hidden gem. With exclusive and revitalizing treatments, it transports you to another world, whether you’re here for business or for pleasure. Massage, body treatments and facials are just some of its offerings. You’ll leave renewed and rejuvenated.

The Fitness Studio is part of the Spa, offering group classes in a relaxed and quiet setting.
Dining
There is no shortage of dining options, from the Italian Bottiglia to the Mexican Borracha (both of which have excellent happy hour specials). Hank’s Fine Steaks is fine indeed, with prime cuts of meat in a midcentury modern setting. If you have kids, Pizza Rock is Tony Gemignani’s ode to pizza of all styles.
Drinking
Drop Bar, in the middle of the casino, is a modern watering hole you’ll happily park yourself, where drink glasses are never empty and the patrons are always happy.
You Should Know The nightlife offering at Green Valley Ranch is relatively tame. If you’re looking for a night out clubbing or a headliner concert, this is not it.

Getting Around
Green Valley Ranch is easily accessible from the airport (15-minute drive), and it’s about 15-20 minutes from the Strip. But you’re here for a reason, and that’s to escape the business of the tourist corridor. You’ll find everything you need here, but if you want to venture out, you’ll need a car or car service.
Restaurants
The District is an outdoor shopping area literally steps outside Green Valley Ranch. There are plenty of dining to be had, including the fast-casual Shake Shack (3-minute walk). Cross the street and hit up Settebello’s authentic wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas (5-minute walk), the best pizza in Henderson.
Bars
Located next to each other (5-minute walk), Whist Stove and Spirits, a gastropub with a stylish interior, and Due & Proper, with a retro U.K. vibe, are good places to grab drinks and light bites.
