Fodor's Review

The casino at New York–New York is just like New York City itself: loud, boisterous, and incessant. The gaming floor has a decor that can be described as art deco meets neon-futuristic. Table limits are a little lower than the high-end Strip casinos, with most minimums starting at $10. Keep an eye out for the Party Pit, where (on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights) scantily clad women gyrate on platforms overlooking blackjack and roulette. Generally speaking, table games fan out from the Center Bar, and slot machines line the periphery of the casino. The oval-shape high-limit table games and slots area feature ornate Murano crystal chandeliers and wood paneling. Sports bettors will be disappointed by New York–New York's race and sports book—the area sits in a corner by the Sporting House, and barely has enough seats for a professional basketball team.
