Society Café

Society Café Review

As its name implies, this upscale café is perfectly suited for easy companionship, whether casual, intimate, or business. Servers are classy yet refreshingly unpretentious, as is the ambience. Portions are modest, with plenty of healthful menu items—such as veggie egg-white frittata and herb-crusted sea bass—as well as playful dishes like frosted-flake French toast and steak-and-egg sliders. Hearty options include house-cured Wagyu pastrami and orecchiette with pan-roasted chicken; while a sophisticated surf and turf is also on offer. Breads and muffins are made on premises, and vegetarian/allergen menus are available upon request. Brunch here is big, with five takes on the traditional Bloody Mary. Night owls appreciate the full bar and late closing hours (1 am) on Friday and Saturday.
