Crystals
Crystals Review
Two levels of opulent boutiques, restaurants, and artistic flourishes are housed within the dramatic steel-and-glass structure that envelops Crystals shopping venue at CityCenter. True to its gleaming facade, scads of swanky designer apparel and accessories from fashion's crème de la crème line the clean, minimalist confines within. Touch-screen directories guide you to brands such as Pucci, Prada, Bulgari, Lanvin, Marni, Miu Miu, Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta, Stella McCartney, Nanette Lepore, and Tom Ford. Come dressed to impress if you intend to do anything more than ogle the latest and greatest offerings; some of the salespeople here can be more haughty than the couture.
Roberto Cavalli has a two-story boutique that sells everything Cavalli—even the pet line—and features a built-in catwalk. One of Louis Vuitton's largest locations in North America is here, with two levels that extend beyond leather goods to include men and women's ready-to-wear, shoes, jewelry, textiles, ties, and more.
Among the places to dine are Pinkberry; boutique steak house and nightclub, SHe by Morton's; Mastro's Ocean Club; and two Wolfgang Puck eateries, Pizzeria & Cucina and The Pods. Afterward, stroll outdoors to cross the CityCenter Sky Bridge to Gallery Row (near the Mandarin Oriental and giant, four-ton sculpture of a blue-and-red typewriter eraser), where three galleries feature the work of Seattle glass master Dale Chihuly, bronze sculptures by Richard MacDonald, and wilderness photography by Rodney Lough, Jr.
For a fun way to access Crystals, ride the sleek and silent Aria Express, CityCenter's free electric tram with a fantastic elevated view of the complex.
