Payard Patisserie & Bistro
Payard Patisserie & Bistro Review
Dessert is king at this Las Vegas outpost of the New York–based restaurant from celebrated chef François Payard. Tourists and business travelers queue during lunch at the counter for made-to-order crepes and treats that might include the Sweet Relief, mango mousse with pineapple souffle and roasted pineapple Swiss meringue. The 46-seat dining room (dinner is served Wednesday through Sunday) offers a lengthy wine list, savory items such as classic croque monsieur (grilled ham-and-cheese sandwich), steak frites and cheese souffle, and a veritable bargain on the Strip: a $48 prix fixe menu of any appetizer, any entree and any dessert. Breakfast offers an array of croques, as well as quiches, brioche french toast and omelets.
