Fodor's Review

The biggest of the Las Vegas casinos, the MGM has a staggering amount of gaming space, which includes more than 3,500 slot machines and 165 different table games. Table minimums on blackjack, craps, and roulette mostly start at $15; on weekends nearly all jump to $25. The Strip entrance is slot-heavy; one machine, the Lion's Share, notorioiusly hasn't hit a jackpot in more than ten years. The main casino bar, Centrifuge, occupies the center of a giant rotunda room, with

a remodeled sports book and standalone poker room nearby. The Mansion, the casino's high-roller area (with mostly baccarat), exists in separate wing with its own bar, kitchen, and entrance. You don't have to play to hang here; so long as you're respectful (and quiet), this casino-within-a-casino is home to some of the best whale-watching in Vegas.
