TI's rooms received a significant makeover in the mid-2000s and are now contemporary and inviting, with soft hues, marble bathrooms, and floor-to-ceiling windows. Several cavernous suite types are available, some outfitted with Bose CD-stereos and all with whirlpool tubs. The pool area is very pleasant, and at night you can have drinks at the Kahunaville tropical nightclub.
. Medium budgets can go either direction here: on one side of an aisle is a full-view pastry kitchen, part of the impressive Dishes buffet; across that aisle is a bank of 2-cent machines. Nickel progressives stand opposite the Isla Tequila bar's banks of obscure labels. Basically, now that the pirate theme is toned down, the somewhat cramped casino here is upscale and attractive but oddly generic.
As with most MGM Mirage properties, expect $15 table minimums on a Saturday night, but try tables during the week for lower minimums. Race- and sports-betting fans find an oasis in the black leather chairs and desks with individual TV screens found north of the main traffic flow in the sports book. The ferocious crowds from the Sirens of TI show create traffic-flow problems each time one of the performances ends (look for a pedestrian bridge to the Fashion Show Mall at the north end for a faster escape).

I just came back from a 3 night stay 10/21-24. First time staying at TI. Rooms were somewhat smaller than I expected, but yet very nice & clean. Bed was extremely comfortable. Buffet was good. Casino alot of fun.

TI is your typical medium sized hotel on the strip. Large, full of people and lots of smoke in the casino. The check in line was long, but the staff was helpful and friendly. My room was just ok. Everything worked but the room itself was a little tired. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The casino was full of smoke so I did not spend a lot of time there. The best thing about this hotel is the show Mystere is here which is one of the best shows in Las Vegas. The Fashion Show Mall is next door and has a connecting walkway. There is also a tram between TI & the Mirage which is a much fancier hotel. The Mirage is only slightly more expensive and if I were to stay in this area again, I think I'd stay at the Mirage as it is a much prettier hotel. TI also offers a free pirate show several times a day, but you don't have to stay here to see the show.

TI has to be the best casino my wife and I have ever stayed at in Las Vegas. The rooms are elegant, the casino is centrally located for checking out the sights and the staff is very friendly and courteous. TI isn't so big you feel like you get lost in it while it has many of the nice amenities of Strip hotels, for the price and entertainment, we will be going here again soon!!
