Paymon's Mediterranean Café and Hookah Lounge

Fodor's Review:

Centerpiece of one of the most decadent crazes to hit Sin City in recent memory, the hookah is an elaborate Middle Eastern water pipe that is used to smoke exotic tobaccos (and yes, we just mean tobacco). Thanks to a helpful "Hookah Man" and some available samples, no prior experience with water pipes is required. But the hookah is only one part of the appeal here: designed by local entrepreneur Paymon Raouf for the ultimate chill-out experience, this red velvet-laden, exquisitely carpeted, incense-filled environment redefines "Vegas plush," thereby making Paymon's place one of the most romantic spots in town. And its young, somewhat bohemian crowd and those sexy paintings on the wall don't hurt the romance, either. Trust us—one visit and you'll get "hookah-ed."
