Pink Taco Review

Nothing inside the Hard Rock Hotel is boring, and that goes for this over-the-top take on a Mexican cantina, which evokes a playful, even rollicking, vibe. The Tex-Mex food takes a decided backseat to the party scene, which includes a huge four-sided bar, patio doors that open onto the hotel's elaborate pool area, and waitresses in low-cut tops. Still, the grub is good. Fill up on shredded pork tacos, chiles rellenos, slow-roasted pork carnitas, and baby back ribs with tamarind-chipotle sauce. Come during happy hour (weekdays from 4 to 7 at the bar) for half-price appetizers and two-for-one beers and margaritas; there also are late-night food specials after 10.

I must disagree with the other reviews. I always make it a point to going for lunch during every trip. The waitress are extremely friendly and the food is served super fast and hot. The chips are served with three (3) different really good tasting salsas and every thing my wife and I have ordered has been really good. Far better than 90% of all the Mexican resturants I've been to anywhere in the US.

I have to agree that if you want a great ambiance and are willing to pay for it with your taste buds and stomach then pink taco is the place to waste your money! I have had better fish tacos @ jack in the box.. (very, very sad as well as dissappointed) If you want to look at hot bodies ( both femal$ male ) then go to the pool observation area.... BUT DO NOT EAT HERE ITS NOT WORTH IT>>

In order to give this place a 5 you either have to be drunk or never have eaten good Mexican food. Not much to say good about the Pink Taco except they have a sense of humor and the decor is pleasant.
