Book NowMandalay Bay Review
This resort is actually three hotels in one—the namesake Mandalay Bay, THEhotel, and the Four Seasons-Las Vegas. Each brand is distinct, and each has a separate entrance. Mandalay itself is decked out like a South Seas beach resort, complete with the scent of coconut oil drifting through the casino and pagodas rising out of the vast casino floor. It's the most affordable and least fabulous lodging component of the overall resort, but it's still a first-rate property with cavernous rooms. Bathrooms have stone floors and counters, as well as deep soaking tubs with separate showers. Guests also receive full access to the Beach, the Beachside Casino, and the Moorea Beach Club, which offers topless sunbathing. Perhaps the only downside to staying at Mandalay Bay is the spacious layout of the property itself; without a map, it could take you five or six tries to get your bearings when you come and go.
HIGHLIGHTS
The Sharks: The Shark Reef aquarium features a 1.6-million-gallon saltwater tank with more than 2,000 different animals.
The Concerts : Between an outdoor pavilion and the House of Blues inside the casino, there's never a shortage of good live music at this joint.
The Views : Two ultra-lounges offer rooms with great views. Atop Mandalay Bay, The Foundation Room brings in deejays every night of the week. Atop THEHotel, this bar serves up fancy cocktails and some of the most incredible views in town.
The Eats: Celebrity chefs such as Charlie Palmer, Hubert Keller, Rick Moonen and Mary Sue Milliken have restaurants at this resort; offering foodies plenty of options for just about every night of a stay.
Amenities
Located on 11 acres, the Mandalay Beach offers guests a wave pool, lazy river, three swimming pools, a jogging track, and 2,700 tons of real sand that's trucked in regularly. The Beach has premium seating and the exclusive new Beachside Casino. If that weren't enough, the Moorea Beach Club also offers raft and tube rentals, as well as cabanas, daybeds, and bungalows and villas that include personalized service.
Two on-site spas-the Spa at Mandalay Bay and the bathhouse at THEHotel-offer a variety of relaxation chambers and dozens of signature treatments. Men love the gentlemen's facial at the Spa at Mandalay; women
swear by the creme brulee treatment at the bathhouse.
Mandalay Place, a shopping corridor that connects Mandalay Bay to the Luxor next door, offers a number of shops, including Nike Golf, Urban Outfitters, and more.

Stayed in TheHOTEL, beautiful rooms (not well cleaned-found tickets and reservation info from a previous guest). Beautiful property and pool, but very crowded! Could overlook all of the above if there was decent customer service. But did not encounter one nice person, they all behaved like they were doing me a favor by checking us in, answering questions. They must think they are the only hotel in town. We will NEVER GO BACK!

Had a surprisingly good time at the Mirage. Stayed in a Tower Suite, and it was spacious & well done. Will definitely stay again if the price is right

We stayed here in 2004 and really loved it. However, that was before the MGM conglomerate took it over and before the monorail from Luxor/Excalibur came through. We went back in December 2007 and had a horrible time. Lots of little kids running around, some literally running up and down the hallways outside our door all night long. Try to get something to eat after 10 pm...just try! All the restaurants were closed, except the coffee shop, which had a wait of over an hour. We decided to try room service...and were told that would be a 50 minute wait. We checked out early and won't be returning.

My wife and I looked forward to staying here, but the neighbors were loud and the walls paper-thin, we didn't get any sleep that night. The facilities in the casino were great, but upon checkout, the registration person stated it wasn't their fault about the noise, because after all, Las Vegas is a 24 hour city. I don't agree with the attitude or the rooms. I'd visit during the day but won't stay there again overnight.

Stayed here this weekend for a conference. Beautifl property, very plush and resort-like. You could spend a week just enjoying the property without ever leaving. Lots of food choices, entertainment, and the cleanliness and service were exemplary. No wait for check-in or check out and all of our requests were easily accommodated in a very professional and prompt manner - the service associates were obviously well renovation in certain spots but ample room for enjoyment and did not impact the quality of our stay in any way. I would highly recommend this to anyone - especially if you can get a good rate and are debating between this and another strip property - pick Mandalay Bay.
