Believe it or not, many local residents think this steak house set within the craziness of Circus Circus is among the best. It's totally unlike the rest of Circus Circus; wood paneling and antique brass furnishings adorn a dark, quiet room reminiscent of 1890s San Francisco. A ton of beef—aged 21 days—is displayed in a glassed-in area at one side; the cooking takes place over an open-hearth mesquite grill. Steaks, chops, chicken, and seafood make up the menu, and all entrées are accompanied by soup or salad, fresh bread, and a giant baked potato. There's also a champagne Sunday brunch.
