Firefly Tapas Kitchen

Firefly Tapas Kitchen Review

A dapper, hip bistro opened by a pair of Mon Ami Gabi alumni, Firefly occupies the same shopping center as the popular Paradise Road favorites Marrakech and Yolie's. As the name suggests, the kitchen focuses on Spanish and Mediterranean small plates, none of which cost more than $10. Order a few, and you've got a meal. On any given day, options might include ham-and-cheese croquettes, meatballs in a sherry-tomato sauce, marinated and grilled octopus, and shrimp in lemon-garlic-butter sauce. There are usually a few heartier entrées, such as a ribeye steak or paella, offered as well. For dessert, order the rich chocolate-and-cherry bread pudding with a port wine reduction. Dine in the colorful and compact dining room or outside on the cheerful patio. Firefly serves until 3 am most evenings.
