Las Vegas Restaurants

Alizé

Alizé Review

André Rochat, who brought Vegas his two other outstanding restaurants, opened this considerably more contemporary and sleek space atop the Palms. You may not even notice the priceless china, crystal, and silver in the elegant dining room, given its unbeatable views of the Vegas skyline. But you may just become distracted once you sample the artful contemporary French fare. Complex dishes might include New Zealand abalone sautéed with Perigord black truffle, parsnip puree, and brown butter sauce; or a crispy pork belly with Bartlett pear puree, pine nuts, and mustard glaze. Pepper-crusted filet mignon with a cognac cream sauce makes for another reliable main course. Finish your meal with brandy or Armagnac from one of the world's finest collections.

Absolutely stunning good experience. Do the courses + wine pairings. Expensive but worth every cent. 1st fabulous meal we've had in Vegas. Nothing compares.

We made reservations on a Wednesday night for our anniversary/vow renewal and we got in right at opening. Because we were one of the first there for the evening we got a prime spot on the window overlooking the city--gorgeous. The food was excellent and service impeccable. The cost was what you would expect for a higher-end restaurant--around $175 with tip (we didn't order any alcohol). Very nice place to celebrate a special occasion--extremely quiet and intimate. One of the best meals we had in Vegas. (Dec. '07)
