TAO

TAO Review

Yet another of the Strip's see-and-be-seen nightclubs that's sometimes overlooked as a dining option, Tao offers all the panache of the Manhattan original with a dark and seductive dining room filled with candles and Buddha statues (including one that's 20 feet tall and seated above a carp-filled pool). The expertly prepared Asian fare includes sushi and sashimi (consider the spicy lobster roll with shiso and black caviar) and might include items such as braised spicy shrimp with chive flowers, corn-and-crab soup, miso-glazed Chilean sea bass with wok vegetables, and wasabi-crusted filet mignon with tempura of onion rings. Stick around after your meal for cocktails, dancing, and celebrity-spotting.
