$$-$$$$, Italian, Wynn Las Vegas
Fodor's Review:
In this intimate space with red leather chairs, white napery, an open kitchen, and a long, swanky bar, fans of Italian cooking encounter a menu that mixes the traditional with the innovative. It's one of the few Wynn restaurants that, while still upscale, won't cost you a king's ransom, yet a dinner here rivals just about any fine Italian restaurant on the Strip. There's a long list of chilled and hot appetizers, from red snapper carpaccio to fried artichokes with lemon-caper sauce. Specialties include seared roasted monkfish in parchment with artichokes, fingerling potatoes, and tomato-lemon confit; braised rabbit with sweet English peas and handmade pappardelle pasta; and goat's-milk-ricotta ravioli with brown butter, walnuts, sage, and balsamic syrup.
