Canter's Delicatessen

Canter's Delicatessen Review

You'll find this noisy, crowded, but festive version of the 1930s Los Angeles institution next to the race and sports book. A stainless-steel counter and dining tables make for a clean, almost futuristic look. Dive into huge sourdough rye sandwiches packed with corned beef or pastrami, as well as generous sandwiches with other deli meats and cheeses, and their famous barley-bean soup. During big games in the adjacent book, $25 gets you a bucket of four beers, a basket of chicken wings, and fries. The place is open daily until midnight.

I first found this deli in 2007 and raved it to all my customers; however, this year was a huge disapointment...the grilled rueben had half the meat and thet changed from fat fries to skinny fries which were cold...I won't eat there again
