Las Vegas Restaurants

STACK

STACK Review

Curvy strips of exotic wood form the "stacked" walls of this beautiful restaurant, owned by nightclub impresarios The Light Group. Start with $4 Skyy cocktails at Happy Hour and a host of small plates, available seven days a week. For dinner, inventively prepared comfort classics dominate the menu—start with the (totally modern) pigs in a blanket or the miso black cod before tucking into the lamb shank with lentils and watercress or the bone-in 24-ounce cowboy steak. Be sure to order a side of "Adult Tater Tots" with bacon and Brie. The restaurant is open until midnight Friday and Saturday, 11 pm the rest of the week.

The restaurant is good, slightly high priced for the quality and service, but if you want to have any conversation around the table as you enjoy your meal DO NOT go here. Seven people made reservations after the show and arrived for our BIG meal out in Las Vegas. We could not talk to anyone at the table except if we yelled at the person beside us because the music in the restaurant was so loud. I understand it's a chic nightspot, and I'm not against loud music in a bar scene but at a restaurant I expect to enjoy conversation with the people I am seated next to and around the table and it was impossible at this restaurant. I would never go back unless I am alone and just want to watch people.

Creative entrees and unexpected culinary creations make this restaurant one of my favorites in Vegas. I traveled to Vegas for the first time and tried all the "hip" restaurants. This is by far my favorite. Food is great. Don't miss out on the "muchkin" donuts for dessert. Yummy!

We just got back from Las Vegas and had dinner at STACK at the Mirage our first night there. The atmosphere is hip and sophisticated with great music keeping the place energized. The menu is focused on small plates (tapas-like) with a few entree sized selections. We just kept ordering these incredible small plates of food - no entrees. Everything was great including the service. Definitely go here if you can get a reservation.
