Rainbow Bar & Grill

Fodor's Review:

We hate to break it to the anti-franchise crowd, but this nightspot is an outpost of a Hollywood hangout—and it's right across the street from the Hard Rock. Similar to the Hard Rock's club Body English in look—think dark wood walls and red banquettes—the Rainbow is far friendlier. There's amazing rock memorabilia everywhere, a stage on which local bands let it blow, two dining rooms serving good grub, celebrity customers like Quentin Tarantino, an outdoor patio, a rocker crowd, and an open-all-night-long policy. All this, plus a free "designated driver" public telephone.
