Fodor's Review:
We hate to break it to the anti-franchise crowd, but this nightspot is an outpost of a Hollywood hangout -- and it's right across the street from the Hard Rock. Similar to the Hard Rock's club Body English in look -- think dark wood walls and red banquettes -- the Rainbow is far friendlier. There's amazing rock memorabilia everywhere, a stage on which local bands let it blow, two dining rooms serving good grub, celebrity customers like Quentin Tarantino, an outdoor patio, a rocker crowd, and an open-all-night-long policy. All this, plus a free "designated driver" public telephone.
