This 2,000-capacity concert hall more often than not strips out all the seating for general-admission shows. It sometimes books acts that would normally play much bigger rooms—everyone from the Rolling Stones to Nine Inch Nails—just for the publicity value. (Something it will need with the opening of the Pearl at the Palms as a new rival.) For the time being, young (or young-at-heart) music fans who don't mind jostling for views of the stage will have to put up with its flaws: getting to the restrooms can be an ordeal, and the sound system is just adequate.
