Fodor's Review:

At some point while you're walking around the middle of the Strip, you're bound to see the Mirage Volcano erupt. The 54-foot fountain-volcano, on 3 water-covered acres, shoots flames and smoke 100 feet above the water below. Get there at least 10 minutes before the spewing starts for the best vantage point near the main drive entrance.

  • Open: Daily from 7 PM, every 15 mins

One of the big outdoor attractions along The Strip, impressive in its way if kind of corny and kitchy. At least it's free.
