Renaissance Las Vegas Hotel Review

With "merely" 578 rooms and suites, this nongaming Rat Pack-inspired hotel feels downright intimate when compared to some of the megaresorts in town. In fact, Renaissance rooms with two beds feel a bit cramped, but given their stylish look, they're just dandy. Bathrooms are diminutive, too, but do come with separate tubs and glass shower stalls. In the common area, the property lacks a casino but has everything to suit a business traveler's needs, including the superb ENVY Steakhouse. About the only drawback among the amenities is the small pool. Pros : the steak house really is something to envy; everything in rooms feels new. Cons : rooms feel small; pool feels overcrowded very quickly.

The Renaissance is one of the few non-gaming hotels in Las Vegas. It's hip without being flashy, cool without the glitz, and it's a wonderful retreat from the lights and flash of The Strip. Best of all, we enjoyed excellent service during our stay and will definitely be back.

Very nice rooms and you do not have to walk through a gambling floor to get to the elevators. The rooms were appointed well, with nice bathrooms and free parking.
