Fodor's Review:

Regional history, from the time of the Spanish exploration to the building of Las Vegas after World War II, is the subject of this museum, which also covers the archaeology and anthropology of southern Nevada. It's near the lake in Lorenzi Park, an open space dotted with ponds and home to plants and animals native to the region.
