Fashion Show Mall

Fodor's Review:

It's impossible to miss this swanky, fashion-devoted mall due to one big element: The Cloud, a futuristic steel shade structure that looms high above the mall's entrance. Ads and footage of the mall's own fashion events are continuously projected onto the eye-catching architecture (think Times Square à la Las Vegas). The inside of the mall is sleek, spacious, and airy, a nice change from some of the claustrophobic casino malls. The mall delivers on its name—fashion shows are occasionally staged in the Great Hall on an 80-foot-long catwalk that rises from the floor.

Not everything here is overpriced. Although you do find many of the same stores that are at the casino malls, such as Louis Vuitton, there's also a smattering of different fare; trendy clothes boutique Talulah G.; and the only bookstore on the Strip, Waldenbooks. Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, two Macy's stores, Bloomingdale's Home, Nordstrom, and Dillard's serve as the department-store anchors. Fashion Show is next to the New Frontier.
