Double Down Saloon

Fodor's Review:

The grand poobah of Vegas dive bars, the Double D is a short walk from the Hard Rock Hotel and a long, long way from Paradise (although a sign above the door proclaims it to be "The Happiest Place On Earth"). Delicious decadence prevails here. For the boho crowd, this deliberately downscale bar has everything from live bands to a jukebox that blasts everything from Patsy Cline to Frank Sinatra, rockabilly to bluegrass, and classic punk to classic funk. Fans of the place include filmmaker Tim Burton. Don't miss the clever yet often obscene graffiti. Wear black and don't bother checking this place out before the witching hour.
