What's really unique (for Vegas) about this intimate spot a short drive southeast of the airport is that artful, creative contemporary cuisine is served in an easygoing space with an unpretentious vibe. The dining room has been updated but still is decorated simply, perhaps to show off colorful fare such as goat-cheese wontons with raspberry-basil sauce, and duck breast with pomegranate red wine sauce and mashed sweet potatoes. This place, from a former Strip executive chef, used to be something of a sleeper, but it's becoming better known, so book a couple of days ahead if you want to dine Thursday through Saturday.

Todd's IS unique. Creative and well-prepared food at a really reasonable price. Totally unpretentious and welcoming. Comfortable space - perfect service.

We made reservations for a Monday night in early summer 2008, but didn't really need them. As indicated above, the restaurant is somewhat small and spare, but the food was wonderful and true to the name. A jalapeño watermelon salad was fiery and refreshing at the same time; the addition of grilled shrimp added a new dimension to the gaspacho; even the bread basket contained a more interesting selection than most restaurants. Very friendly and
helpful staff. Will look for it again on my next visit.

You rated it high...but it was more than we expected. Service was friendly and very informative. The food was adventuresome...not shying away from spices. The polenta had a wonderful burn. Recommendations on entrees were right on. Worth the trip off of the strip. Easy to miss...but the best meal of the week!
