Renovated and refreshed during 2013, Red Square still marks its entrance with a headless statue of N. Lenin, while the interior has an imperial opulence with soaring ceilings and intricate chandeliers—as well as a bar made of ice. Start with a Siberian Night or Red Scare cocktail and choose among a half-dozen sustainable caviars or their Siberian Nachos with smoked salmon and caviar. For entrées you can't go wrong with the chicken Kiev or beef stroganoff. Somewhat ironically, they also serve a good all-American stuffed Maine lobster. Be sure to check out the walk-in vodka freezer, where you might even spot the statue's missing head.

The 20.00 to 40.00 here is misleading. Actually, the prices were from around 24 to about 75.00 per plate. The vodka was 10 to 50 dollars a shot or drink. so, you can imagine, it was expensive. My husband and I split a salad and each got an entree with no drinks and the bill came to 145.00 with tip. The atmosphere was beautiful and we were not dissappointed in the food or the portions. Just be prepared to spend a little money.
