Fish flown in daily from the Mediterranean—complete with GPS tags, so location, temperature, and other conditions can be tracked along the way—are the hallmark of this elegant restaurant. It has a full bar and seating on the upper level, as well as a beautiful dining room downstairs and tables in cabanas along Wynn's Lake of Dreams. At the helm is two-time James Beard Award-winning Chef Paul Bartolotta, who serves his fish whole, to be filleted and plated at the table, or in dishes like Sicilian amberjack with radicchio and anchovy sauce or risotto with sea urchins and scallops.

Terrible experience. Not a romantic ambiance. Waiters were too busy to notice anything we needed salt and couldn't get any. The place smelled like old fish. The Italian was over cheeses and the fish was mediocre. I'd never go back there.

My wife and I celebrated our 30th anniversary at Bartolotta along with our best man and his wife. The restaurant and food were wonderful. The service from our waiter was undesirable. He made us feel like we were bothering him by being in the restaurant. He was very hurried and did not like answering questions. The ordering is not normal at this restaurant because you choose a fish from the display. I felt rushed the whole meal. He was not very
professional in his presentation or explanation. The meal costs $300 per couple and I would expect to get treated much better. They are lucky that the food is good. A restaurant of this caliber and pricing should have the best service. I will not be going back to this establishment again.

It is a beautiful restaurant with much ambience, great service, all the elegant qualities one could expect. However, we had a very bad experience. Fresh fish is priced by the gram. One section of the menu offered John Dorey. It said $22. We must have missedthe fine print as it turned out to be $22 per gram. Our bill just for the fish for the two of us was $140. Total bill for two glasses of wine, and a salad was $204. We felt that we were
taken. Food was good, but $140 for a small fish for two people is too much!
