The Resort at Paws Up Review

Go "glamping"—glamorous camping—at this resort, set on an authentic cattle ranch on some 37,000 acres of wilderness. Staying in one of the tents at Paws Up is a long way from roughing it. Think luxurious, safari-style tents, complete with fine linens, en-suite baths, and a "camping butler." For even more refinement, try one of the luxury homes, each with its own outdoor hot tub. Included in your stay is the use of an electric car to navigate around the expansive ranch, where you can fly-fish in the Blackfoot River, go horseback riding, or pamper yourself at "spa city." Kids will never be bored thanks to the daily Kids Corps of Discovery offering activities lasting a full or half day.

2010 Fodor's 100 Hotel Award Winner

Luxury camping sounds like an oxymoron, but not at the Resort at Paws Up in Montana's Blackfoot Valley, where guests sleep on king-size beds in wood-floored tents with daily housekeeping services, plus their own personal camping butler who attends to every need. If upscale camping isn't your style, Paws Up also offers luxurious homes that can accommodate larger parties.
