From the outside it doesn't look like much, but this out-of-the-way charmer, a 1930s building with a log-cabin dining area, features some of the finest steaks around. Locals crowd into the remote restaurant south of town and east of Salmon Lake for the chicken-fried steak, potato bar, salad bar, and tempura prawns. You can snowmobile directly to the restaurant in the winter.
