There are two cabins—one fully equipped, the other rustic—on a family ranch outside of Bynum, 25 mi northwest of Choteau. Both sit just east of the foot of the mountains, with an inspirational view. The hiking and bird- and wildlife-watching for which the Rocky Mountain Front is known are right outside the door. One cabin is just like home, with a full kitchen and bath, living room with TV and VCR, and sleeping space (queen and twin beds) for four to six people, depending on how friendly they are. The other cabin has a loft and four bunk beds, a sofa, a propane stove and refrigerator, and an outhouse (in other words, no running water).
