Fodor's Review

A 1910 narrow-gauge steam train, the Baldwin Locomotive No. 12, Montana's only operating steam locomotive run by volunteer crews, travels between Virginia City and Nevada City on weekends from July 4 through Labor Day, as well as Memorial Day weekend. On weekdays a smaller gas-powered locomotive, the C.A. Bovey No. 8, makes the same journey.
