Chico Hot Springs Resort & Day Spa Review

The Chico Warm Springs Hotel opened in 1900, drawing famous folks such as painter Charlie Russell (1864-1926) to the 96°F-103°F hot-spring pools. The hotel is surrounded by two large outdoor soaking pools, a convention center, and upscale cottages that open to views of 10,920-foot Emigrant Peak and the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness beyond. The least expensive rooms share a bath. The dining room ($$$-$$$$) is considered among the region's best for quality of food, presentation, and service. Pine nut-encrusted halibut with fruit salsa and Gorgonzola filet mignon are among the biggest draws.
