Downhill Skiing

Red Lodge Mountain Resort. There are 65 ski trails on 1,600 acres at Red Lodge Mountain Resort, all in the Custer National Forest. The family-friendly resort has a 2,400-foot vertical drop, a large beginner area, plenty of groomed intermediate terrain, and 30 acres of extreme chute skiing. Slopes are accessed by two high-speed quads, one triple, and four double chairs.
