Saved from inundation in 1954 when the Canyon Ferry Reservoir was created, this former cattle baron's home was relocated to a premier perch above the lake. Antiques accent the frilly modern furnishings and lovingly restored woodwork throughout the B&B. In addition to several private rooms, there's a dorm-style bunkhouse that sleeps seven, as well as a "honeymoon cabin" with Jacuzzi. Outdoorsy types come here for summer water sports, winter ice boating, and year-round fishing; impatient lovers come for no-wait eloping at the on-site chapel.

We had a lapse in judgement and didn't research this venue before we paid to hold our wedding at the Canyon Ferry Mansion chapel, and we very much regret it. The facility was filthy and like a hoarder's house, the service was horrendous, and we had no choice but to cut our losses and hold our wedding elsewhere. The owner, Sandy Rose, broke our contract and refused to provide a refund, so we are out $4500. It was a horrible experience. Canyon Ferry
Mansion is also for sale and we have learned that it is in danger of foreclosure. Do your research if you are thinking of doing business here.
