Getting Here and Around

Helena Airport has service from Billings, Great Falls, Minneapolis, Denver, Seattle, and Salt Lake City. The downtown historic area has a pedestrian-only mall on Last Chance Gulch with shops, coffeehouses, and restaurants. There are several historic sights here that you can see on foot, but other sights are spread out in the city and best accessed by automobile. A trolley (406/447-1580 www.downtownhelena.com 50 cents) travels between the Great Northern Town Center, Last Chance Gulch, and the Capitol area Monday through Friday, 10-6, stopping every half hour at designated points.
