Going-to-the-Sun Road

Fodor's Review:

This magnificent, 50-mi highway—a National Historic Civil Engineering Landmark—crosses the crest of the Continental Divide at Logan Pass and traverses the towering Garden Wall. The Federal Highway Administration and the park have embarked on a multiyear road rehabilitation, which will see this narrow, curving highway undergo structural repair. A shuttle system is provided by the National Park Service to decrease the amount of traffic during the construction.
