Chief Two Moon Monument Review

Lakota leaders Crazy Horse and Sitting Bull are the most famous Native Americans associated with the Battle of the Little Bighorn, but Cheyenne chief Two Moon was just as well respected among his people. The owner of the general store in the nearby town of Busby became acquainted with the young and friendly chief and built a monument to him in the 1930s. A likeness of the chief, who served as the model for the head side of the buffalo nickel, adorns the memorial.
