Peak Season: June to September
Missouri has long, hot summers. Temperatures rarely spike above 90°F, but high humidity can make it feel much hotter.
Off Season: April to May; October
The off-season is a pleasant time to visit Missouri, although be aware that tornadoes and heavy rainfall are common in April and May. October is a bit drier, though cyclones this time of year are not unheard of.
Shoulder Season: November to March
Winters in Missouri are cold and relatively dry, with subfreezing temperatures and some snow, especially in the northern part of the state.
