St. Louis Restaurants

Blueberry Hill

Fodor's Review

A stalwart of the trendy Loop neighborhood of University City, the venerable intimate restaurant and music venue hosts up-and coming touring bands, local acts, and—once a month—Rock 'n Roll legend Chuck Berry. Dart competitions are also popular. Order a burger, sip a locally brewed Rock 'n' Roll beer, and pop a quarter in the famous 2,000-tune jukebox to get the good times going.

Find your thrill ...

If you're lucky, you'll find legendary Chuck Berry himself at the front door with owner/local icon, Joe Edwards, while the local PBS station is filming their weekly commentary show in the front window. The burgers sometimes look like hockey-pucks, but they are always tasty...don't send it back until you've tried it! Whether you have kids in tow, are 90/married/single/a college student/or a tourist. You have to make a stop at least once while in

St. Louis, even if it is to just split a basket of fries and a soda. Follow it up with a stroll down the Loop at night to the Tivoli for a movie.
