Fodor's Review:

This venerable St. Louis institution has displays and photographs of the city's earliest days. The courtrooms have seen some momentous legal arguments. Dred Scott began his process of suing for freedom here in 1847, and in 1872 the court heard arguments that a woman named Virginia Minor -- and indeed all American women -- were constitutionally entitled to vote.
