Fodor's Review

A mind-boggling collection of mosaics covers the walls, ceilings, and three domes of this amazing cathedral, which is also known as the New Cathedral. Romanesque on the outside and Byzantine on the inside, the cathedral remains one of the city's most popular attractions.

Beautiful church

The one must see church in St. Louis. The interior is gorgeous, covered extensively with mosaics and containing some worthy stained glass. Imposingly attractive from the outside as well. A bit of a challenge to reach via public transport, and in a less desirable part of town.

Just this Cathedral makes the trip worthwhile

Only St. Peter's in Rome tops it in beauty.
