Celebrity photos line the walls of this Italian restaurant's intimate dining room on the north side of the city. Southern Italian fare dominates the menu; the restaurant has served more than 2 million helpings of its famous lasagna since it opened in 1954.

The food at Cascone's is at best average red sauce Italian. There are better Italian restaurant's in town (Garozzo's for traditional red sauce, Lidia's for more upscale Italian). Note that the prices at Cascone's are not close to $40; most pastas are around $15. No jacket and tie is required - it would be rare to see a jacket at this restaurant.
